Hiding an Assignment

You can conceal Assignments from view without deleting them. It can help remove visual clutter, making the Timesheet easier to read.

This article details how to Hide a Timesheet Assignment.

Note: To allow Users access to the new and improved My Timesheet in your Sandbox/Implementation/production environments, you must add them to the New Timesheet list. For further details refer to Adding users to the New Timesheet list. If you prefer, you can choose to enforce the use of New Timesheet for all Users at the global level.

  1. From the Icon Bar click Entries .
  2. From the Navigation Menu click My Timesheet.

Tip: You can access your timesheet through different avenues, which are further detailed in Accessing My Timesheet.

  3. Upon accessing My Timesheet, click the ellipsis button located against the Assignment you wish to Complete.
  4. From the available options select Hide.

Note: The Hide option is grayed out if there are Time Entries for the Assignment.

  5. Note that the page will refresh and the Hidden Assignment will no longer be displayed.
  6. You can choose to add it to your Timesheet again by using + Assignment.

Example: As an Example, John has multiple Assignments, but he is not working on one of them for this and next period. He can now easily hide it from view. The task will still be assigned to him, and he can easily add it to his timesheet in a future period as need be.
