Application Settings

Application Data functions and settings are used to configuration options for your company’s instance of Upland Qvidian. By adjusting some of the default settings, you can customize Upland Qvidian for your organizations unique needs and maximize the benefits of Upland Qvidian for your users.

Global Settings, IP Filters, Integration and Single Sign On should likely not be adjusted without first consulting with Upland Qvidian. A Upland Qvidian representative can help you understand how your various choices will influence the user’s experience in Upland Qvidian.

The Clear Content URLs action cannot be undone. We recommend setting users permissions so that there is limited access to this feature.

For example, you can:

  • enable and disable auditing for any defined user event in Event Auditing Configuration .
  • reset passwords for all users or configure the values for password enforcement in Login Security.
  • manage Timeouts settings, such as the length of time hat the URL link to a Upland Qvidian server request file download or link to a password reset remains valid.
  • manage global settings that control the behavior of a variety of predefined Upland Qvidian functions.

Caution: Any changes made to settings accessed through Application Settings affect all users.
