Review RFP file answers (project)
When an RFP file assignment includes a "Read-only" mode task, the workflow will move to that task after the "Editable" mode assignee completes their task by adding content to the slice and marking their assignment task as complete. The "Read-only" mode assignee reads the content, verifies its accuracy, and then either approves the answer or rejects it. "Read-only" mode assignees can also add assignment level comments if they want to approve a task, but still provide feedback.
You can view your assignments and view related activity in the My Tasks view of the assignment panel, which displays by default for participants. You can click on the assignment to go directly to that slice. For more information on finding your assignments, see Complete your assignments.
Note: Project owners will see the Project view of the assignment panel.
To review an RFP answer, follow the tasks below
- Open the assigned project using one of the methods below.
- From the Home page, under Assigned to Me (Projects), click the project title.
- Click the link in the notification email sent to you by the project owner.
From the navigation menu, click the My Work
icon and select the project, or click View All and then select the project from the grid.
Note: Projects are listed in My Tasks menu by order of the earliest due date for your assignments and will not include projects for which you have no assignments. Projects are listed in the grid on the Documents &Projects page by project due date.
- Click My Tasks to switch to the My Tasks view.
- Click on any of the assignment links to go to assigned slice or cell in the workspace.
- Review the content. Depending on the size of the record or text added, the full content of a cell slice may not display. To view the full content, right-click on the slice and then select View Cell Inline from the Actions menu.
- Depending on how you navigated to your task, click Complete Task / Complete My Task.
- The assignment workflow will move to the next task.
Note: If the "Read-only" mode assignee does not approve the content, they can change your assignment task's status from complete back to incomplete. If this occurs, you will receive an email notification with the reviewer’s reasons for sending back the answer and a link to the project.
Note: If marked "Everyone", the workflow task requires all assigned participants to complete the task before the workflow can move forward. If marked "Anyone", the workflow task only requires one of the assigned participants to complete the task before the workflow can move forward.
