About iManage Cloud and On-Prem Integration

A DMS connector known as the WorkSiteRESTV2 utilizing REST API has been developed to support communications between the Upland AccuRoute Server and iManage Cloud and On-Prem configurations. The connector is used to deliver documents to the iManage™ Cloud and On-Prem server environments. It has also been enhanced to work with AccuRoute Desktop Client Embedded Directives (distributions) and various WebApps menu options via the WorkWeb extension.

Note: iManage Work Panel in Outlook users will need the latest version of iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.5.1.2 and iManage Work Agent.

Before you begin

You will use the iManage Control Center and the Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator to set up the WorkSiteRESTV2 connector. There are several use case scenarios to consider before you set up the connector.

• Current iManage On-Prem server environment without Cloud integration

  • Current AccuRoute and iManage On-Prem Administrators are not required to make changes to their current On-Prem connector configuration if they are not planning a Cloud integration and will remain an On-Prem server environment.

• New iManage Cloud server environment

  • New AccuRoute and iManage Cloud Administrators are required to create a new WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for their server environment if they are planning a Cloud integration.

• New iManage Cloud server environment for the AccuRoute Desktop Client

  • AccuRoute and iManage Administrators are required to create a new WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for their server environment if they are planning a Cloud integration. See AccuRoute Desktop Client – Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for more information.

Note: Although some companies have either an On-Prem or Cloud server environment and not both, the WorkSiteRESTV2 connector has been designed to work with both server environments seamlessly.

• New iManage Cloud server environment WorkSite extension for the WebApps Client

  • AccuRoute and iManage Administrators are required to create a new WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for their server environment if they are planning a Cloud integration. See WebApps - WorkSite Extension for more information.

Administrators must complete the following setup tasks based on their server configurations.

• iManage On-Prem Server – Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 connector (Server version 10.3.1 or higher)

• iManage Cloud Server – Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 connector

• iManage Cloud Server – Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for AccuRoute Desktop Client Administrators only

• iManage Cloud Server – Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 connector and extension for WebApps Administrators only
