About Distributions

A Distribution is a defined group of one or multiple recipients and associated Routing Rules. With Distributions, you can access and view your personal and subscribed distributions.

The My Distributions tile lists your Personal and Public distributions created in WebApps or the Desktop Client. My Distributions are known as Personal Distributions. With My Distributions, you can perform the following tasks.

  • Create distributions.

  • View or edit distribution properties.

    • Select the distribution and use the Properties button in the toolbar to view and edit the properties.

The Subscribed Distributions tile lists the Public Distributions of other users that you are subscribed to. With Subscribed Distributions, you can perform the following tasks.

Note: Distributions are available on the Embedded Device Client display panel. Personal Distributions require authentication. By default, Public Distributions do not. With either, you can use a single MFP button to instruct the server to send your document to the recipients in your selected distribution.

My Distributions Legend Description
1. Toolbar

Use the toolbar to:

  • Create distributions.

  • View or edit distribution properties.

  • Mark a distribution as a favorite.

  • Delete a distribution.

  • Create a scan reservation.
2. My Distributions grid and columns

View the following parameters.

  • Distribution name

  • Distribution creation date and time

  • Distribution last used date and time

  • Distribution recipients

Note: Use the Up or Down arrow in the column header to sort items in ascending or descending order.
3. Page navigation toolbar Go to and view first, previous, next or last page.
4. Refresh icon

Use to refresh the grid and get the latest distributions.

 

The Subscribed Distribution grid is similar to My Distributions.

The grid shows the following parameters.

  • Owner - Subscribed Distribution owner's email address.

  • Title - Subscribed Distribution name

  • Created - Date and time stamp

  • Last used - Date and time stamp

  • Recipients - Included in the distribution

Note: The Delete button is not available for subscribed distributions. You cannot delete subscribed distributions. See the My Distributions legend above for more information.
