About Subscribed Distributions

Subscribed Distributions offer you the opportunity to easily route messages to specific destinations and/or formats not configured for you or by you.

Users can share their personal distributions as public distributions. You can use any public distribution created by other users that you can subscribe to. You can subscribe to the public distributions of multiple users.

To set up WebApps to use subscribed distributions, you need to enter the email addresses of users with distributions in Preferences. Then, when you prepare new messages from Distributions > Subscribed Distributions, you can choose from a list of all the distributions made public by the users that you subscribed to.

You can view a list of users you subscribed to in the Subscribed Distributions section of User Preferences.

To configure access to Public/Shared Distributions

1. Open WebApps from your browser.

2. Select Preferences > Subscribed Distributions.

3. Select +New.

4. Type the email address for a user whose distributions you want to use and select OK. You can subscribe to multiple email addresses, but you can only enter one at a time. You can view a list of the Subscribed Distributions available from these users via the Distributions tile.

To send a message using a Subscribed Distribution

1. Open WebApps from your browser.

2. Select Distributions > Subscribed Distributions.

3. Select a Public Distribution from those available and select +New on the toolbar.

4. At the end of the Destinations box, select + and continue with Step 3 of Sending Messages.
