Rendering a Mailing
After selecting a target audience and adding content, you can run a render test to validate how messages look in multiple desktop, web and mobile clients prior to sending, as well as pre-screen messages to highlight potential deliverability challenges.
Once you have checked your rendering, you can run a seed test (depending on mailing options) or schedule your mailing.
Run a Render Test
- Select the rendering tab.
- Select the recipient and list to be used for the rendering test, if applicable.
-
Press the run render test button to request the rendering report. When clicked, this button will turn gray until results are viewed.
Tip: you can navigate away from the tab, e.g. to set up the delivery schedule for your mailing, while results are being generated and return to view results. - Press the refresh results button to obtain the latest previews.
-
Select a preview from the results to view how your email appears in that app.
Note: previews are grouped by web app (e.g. Gmail on Chrome), mobile app (e.g. Samsung Mail), and desktop app (e.g. Outlook 2016). - Use the next button to proceed to the next step of the workflow or the back button if you need to edit your content based on how it renders.
Note: after you have viewed the rendering results, the run render test button will become available again to request a new report.
Requesting a new version of the rendering report will replace previous rendering results for that mailing on this tab.
You can access all of the previous results through the reports tab.
