The "My Projects" Portfolio
Every user will notice a "My Projects" Portfolio on their Portfolios page. This Portfolio has a black dot icon displayed next to it.
Note: The name of this Portfolio can be changed.
Note: Users with the "Portfolio Administration" Context permission will also see black dot icons next to Portfolio templates. To tell the difference, templates will display a value of "Yes" under the "Is Template" column on your Portfolios page.
This Portfolio should contain work items that the user is directly responsible for. When a user edits their "My Projects" Portfolio, their edits will only apply to themselves when they view the Portfolio or apply it to Dashboards, Executive Reviews, Financial Reviews, or Reports.
The "My Projects" Portfolio is also unique because users with the "Portfolio Administration" Context permission can create Portfolio templates and apply their settings to the "My Projects" Portfolios of multiple other users at once. This way, administrators can control what other users will see when they apply their "My Projects" Portfolio to Dashboards, Executive Reviews, Financial Reviews, and Reports.
