The Work Item Mention Notification is a system-generated Notification that alerts users when they are mentioned in a Comment on a Work Item Entry.
This notification helps streamline communication by ensuring users are promptly informed when mentioned in a Comment. It reduces the need for separate email threads by keeping all relevant discussions within the system, making it easier to track conversations in context. By allowing users to tag key stakeholders—such as project managers or finance teams—it supports quicker clarifications and more efficient collaboration. This saves time otherwise spent searching for the right contact or following up manually.

When a user is mentioned using the "@" symbol in a Work Item comment, an email is sent to the mentioned user, along with a notification in the Notification Center
