Work Types Integration

To link a Work Type with an integrated third-party application, use the Integrations tab available on the Work Type Edit page. This tab contains fields that store the unique identifiers used by each integrated system. These values are typically populated during data import but can also be edited manually.

Note: The integration Value fields store the unique identifiers that align records between PSA and third-party applications. Ensure that any manually entered values match exactly with the external system's configuration to maintain accurate synchronization.

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. From the Navigation Menu click Work to expand the corresponding menu.
3. From the Work menu items, click Work Types.
4. Select the name of the Work Type you want to edit.
5. In the Work Type Edit page, navigate to the Integrations tab.
6. Click the Edit button next to the required integration..
7. Inline editing will be enabled, allowing you to enter the required Value.
8. Make the necessary changes, then click Save to apply your updates.

   

   Tip: To discard changes, click the Cancel button instead.
