Creating Outlook Local Profile

Local profiles are created using the Profile option on the Genifax Send Form. When the profile is saved, the options set on the Profile option are stored in a message item in an Outlook folder called Fax Profile, located under the Omtool Profiles folder, both of which are created automatically the first time the Send Form is opened. The message item stored in the Fax Profile folder is the local profile.

You can create local profiles for users and forward the profile message item to users, who can then save it into the Fax Profile folder in Outlook on their systems. Alternatively, you can send lists of cover pages, billing codes, access codes, and other settings to users, who can then create their own local profiles.
