Connecting Salesforce to Adestra (2025)
Connection between Salesforce and Adestra is via OAuth2.0 Authentication Flow and the Adestra app.
Before you connect to Adestra, ensure your app permissions and user settings are configured to allow your end users to sync their campaigns.
You will also need to map the workspace, core table, and fields for your end users.
To connect Salesforce to your Adestra account:

Log in to Salesforce as an administrator.

Locate the Adestra app (search for Adestra in the main menu).

In the Adestra app, go to Adestra Settings.

On the authentication screen, press the Continue button.
If you encounter any error messages or issues, please contact your Customer Service Representative or adestra-support@uplandsoftware.com.

Enter the authentication token you have been provided by your Upland team.
Note: this token is specific to the Salesforce integration, and is not the same as the API token generated within your Adestra account.

Press the Submit button.

When prompted, press the Allow button to allow access for ConnectToUpland.
If connection is successful, you will get a confirmation that your token has been validated and be taken to the workspace and table mapping screen.
If you encounter any error messages or issues, please contact your Customer Service Representative or adestra-support@uplandsoftware.com.
Note: you will only be required to complete the authentication flow once during your initial setup.
Avoid revoking the OAuth access from your Salesforce environment as this will terminate the connection between Adestra and the app.
With Adestra connected, you will also need to map the workspace, core table, and fields for your end users.
