PSA - Microsoft Teams Integration

Collaboration platforms play an integral part in fostering a streamlined method of communication among team members.

PSA has integrated Microsoft Teams into the following areas:

Project Edit

Upon configuring the integration, users with Modify right to Projects security permission (Setup > Organization > System > Security > Security Profile > Setup > Work) can then create a MS Team by clicking on the Create Team button located on the Project Edit page and add project members. The integration brings all the members of the project into one Microsoft Teams space for discussion and sharing documents.

Workflow Notifications

You can also leverage this integration to deliver real-time, Notifications for the following Workflows:

  • Expense
  • Invoice
  • Leave Request (Actionable Notifications)
  • Project (Actionable Notifications)
  • Resource Request
  • Timesheet
  • Work Item (Actionable Notifications)

Once the PSA Workflow Notification Bot is installed and connected, users can receive notifications directly in Microsoft Teams. For workflows that support Actionable Notifications, users can take immediate action—such as approving or rejecting requests—without leaving the Teams environment.
