Enable Mobile Push Notifications

Push notifications are a valuable tool to keep your user base informed and updated in real-time about important events, messages, and reminders directly on their mobile device.

Push notifications can be setup at the State/Transition level within the Time and Expense Workflows. Additionally, system-level notifications, such as Reminder to approve completed timesheets and Reminder to complete timesheets (Automation Service), are automatically pushed to the users of PSA Mobile.

This article will guide you through the steps to activate push notifications, ensuring your user base is connected and informed on the go.

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. From the Navigation Menu click Organization.
3. From the menu click System.
4. From the System page click the System Setup button to access the System Setup page.
5. From the System Setup page, click the System Config button.
6. Select the Enable mobile push notifications option.
7. Click Yes to confirm.

Impact of your change:

1. Your user base must also enable Push notifications on their devices:
   1. Enable Push Notifications on iOS devices:

      1. Open the Settings app and tap “Notifications.”
      2. Tap PSA and press the “Allow Notifications” switch.
      3. Select the types of alerts you want to receive for the app.
   2. Activate Notifications on Android devices

      1. Tap on the Settings icon on your Android phone.
      2. From the Settings menu, tap on Apps and notifications.
      3. Tap on See all apps to see the list of apps on your phone
      4. Select PSA from your list of apps
      5. Slide the All Notifications toggle to the right to enable notifications
2. Administrators can set up push notifications at the State/Transition level within the Time and Expense Workflows.
3. Additionally, system-level notifications, such as Reminder to approve completed timesheets and Reminder to complete timesheet (Automation Service), are automatically pushed to the Users of PSA Mobile.

   Note: Push Notifications will be sent according to the schedule of the Notifications Delivery Automation Service. Upon tapping the Live Link you will navigate directly to the respective screen.
