Excel Import
The Excel Import functionality allows you to efficiently manage data by leveraging a Microsoft Excel Worksheet template. With this tool, you can import and update a wide range of objects, including Sites, Business Units, Groups, Teams, Users, Titles, Clients, Portfolios, Projects, Phases, Work Types, Tasks, Skills, Skill Associations, Programs, as well as User Defined Fields that are associated with PSA objects. This import capability can create new, and update existing values in PSA. Whether you are creating new records or updating existing ones, the Excel Import streamlines the process to save time and effort.
The Excel Import Template (.xlsx) contains the necessary predefined tabs which allow you to specify the item/object properties to import.
Caution: You must download and use the new Excel Import Template (.xlsx) that includes the format change, renamed columns, and newly added fields. The legacy .xls template is no longer supported and cannot be used.
