About Upland AccuRoute Mobile Capture

Mobile capture is the use of mobile devices to capture, access, and process information anywhere at any time. Documents and other formats are captured and distributed to company-specific resources and destinations. Upland AccuRoute Mobile Capture has been developed for on-premises technology use. It  uses Intelligent Capture  as the backbone for message delivery to the server and benefits companies with workflows that require secure, reliable, and timely document processing.

Note: This application is only available for users of Upland AccuRoute v6.3 and above. Upgrading is required if you are planning on using Mobile Capture. Contact Technical Support for more information.

Before you begin

Administrators must obtain the following information and complete the following tasks.

Required information

  • Administrative username and password (for Mobile Capture configuration)

  • Tenant code (for user registration)

  • Mobile connector code (created by an Administrator for connector configuration)

Note: The information listed above is unique, assigned to your company and provided to an Administrator by Upland AccuRoute for configuration and user registration purposes except for the mobile connector code.

  • Mobile connector license – The use of this connector requires a license. Contact your Account Manager, if necessary.

Required tasks

  • Activate the mobile connector license - See Activating a license for more information.

  • Add the mobile connector

  • Configure the mobile connector

    • Capture to MyFiles (Automatically configured with the Server installation)

    • Capture to Fax (Requires Fax configuration)

    • Capture to Embedded Directive also known as Public Distribution (Requires Embedded Directives configuration)

Mobile Capture supports Embedded Directives configured with the following parameters.

Sender Lookup used for faxing purposes is also supported.

Note: Database, Meditech, Web or Web Service validations are not supported. Mobile Capture will bypass these validations if configured.

  • Assign and remove users

  • Enable mobile capture

Accessing connectors

You can access connectors by using Server Administrator > Connectors.

To access connectors

  1. Start the Server Administrator.

  2. On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > AccuRoute Server Administrator.

  3. Expand the Server Administrator tree, if necessary.

  4. Click Connectors. The Connectors details pane appears.

  5. Double-click any connector. The Properties dialog box appears.

  6. View and edit the properties, if necessary.

  7. Click OK.
