About Volume Lists

You can use the Upland AccuRoute Volume List Extension to create custom document processing workflows, or use the server's packaged workflows to send documents to the repositories.

A metadata search capability is accessible from the Web Client to pull back documents matching the search criteria, regardless of where they are stored. You can search for documents across active queues on the server and finished jobs in the repository.

Tip: Only jobs processed by the server, using the indices defined for the volume, are searchable from the Web Client.

You can support many types of workflows using the Web Client, Queue and ObjectArchive to manage, store, and retrieve documents. However, the server can support Volume Lists for repositories other than Object Archive. If you have an existing repository, such as SharePoint, that you want to use instead of ObjectArchive, the server can accommodate it.

The Volume List Extension supports the following repositories.

  • ObjectArchive

  • Microsoft SharePoint

  • Autonomy iManage WorkSite

  • FileShare

  • NetDocuments
