Suspending a portfolio temporarily disables its activity without deleting it, allowing you to pause work while retaining project data and associations.
This article covers how to suspend a Portfolio.
- From the Icon Bar click Setup
. - From the Navigation Menu click Work to expand the corresponding menu.
- From the Work menu items, click Portfolios.
- Select a portfolio by clicking on it's Name.
- Choose the Suspend selection box to suspend the Portfolio.
Note: Suspending or unsuspending a Portfolio will give you the option to suspend or unsuspend associated Projects and Tasks. In turn, upon unsuspending a Project or Task, the associated Portfolio is automatically unsuspended.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
- Upon clicking Save, a message displays that reads “Do you want to suspend the Projects and Tasks for this Portfolio?”
- Click Yes to suspend the Projects and Tasks for this Portfolio.
- Click No to suspend the Portfolio without suspending the Projects and Tasks that are associated to it.
