Create a New Project From the Portfolio Edit Page
You can create a new Project directly from the Portfolio Edit page. This lets you quickly add projects within the context of a specific portfolio for better organization.
This article details how to create a new project from the Portfolio Edit page.
- From the Icon Bar click Setup

- From the Navigation Menu click Work to expand the corresponding menu.
- From the Work menu items, click Portfolios.
- Select a portfolio by clicking on it's Name.
- Upon the Portfolio Edit page displaying, click the Projects tab.
- Click New to create a new Project.
- On the Project Edit page, select and enter the desired information in the respective boxes, ensuring the mandatory boxes are completed. Note that the Portfolio box defaults to the selected Portfolio in step 4 above.
Note: The mandatory boxes are denoted with an asterisk (*), and must be all completed in order to successfully create a project. For more information view the article Creating a New Project.
- Click Save.
- Click Back to return to the previous page.
