Custom fields

You can now create new custom fields after some have been removed.

Workflow - mailing seeds

Option added to make mailing seeds a required field in the mailings workflow.

Screen capture showing new checkbox option for mandating mailing seeds

Export behavior - incremental exports

Added new export type to export mailing-recipient data incrementally based on last export date.

Bug fix - welcome message

PostUp 5.7.335.1

Drip planner – stat views

Option added to view drip campaign stats for 30/60/90/365/infinity days.

REST API – update LastDateJoined

The list-recips field LastDateJoined is now updated when recipients are re-subscribed using the listsubscription endpoint.

PostUp 5.7.334.1

API - targeting estimator

You can now use the API to get the most recent targeting-estimator counts.

Note: this call does not run the estimators, it only pulls the most recent counts.

Custom reports - mailing stats

You can now see stats for all mailings available in a campaign by list and link-URL.

PostUp 5.7.331.1

Custom reports - email address limit removed

The character limit on the email addresses textbox of a custom report was removed, allowing you to enter more email addresses into this field.

New site switch - external download prebuild

New site switch added for clients reporting intermittent chunking errors when using the external download feature.

When the switch is enabled, the report is written to a local file before being streamed to the response. This avoids delays between chunks, and allows a content-length response header to be added.

REST API - list subscription limits

The list-subscription endpoint now requires you to enter limits when listid and recipid are both blank.

Bug fix - URL tracking

When creating a mailing, having more than 1 utm parameter no longer causes the user-trackable link to be unchecked in the user-trackable URLs box.

PostUp 5.7.330.1

API - GlockApps integration

Tests using GlockApps, e.g. seed tests, updated to reflect GlockApps API changes and allow tests to run as expected.

UI - recipients

Updated button designs and label alignment on standard fields and custom fields tabs.

UI - reports

Update to the colors used in the reports section to display the graphs.

PostUp 5.7.329.1

Categories - new creation method

You can now create a category from within the mailing page or the list page by entering a name and selecting the add new category option.

Categories created this way will function the same as categories created within the settings tab.

Imports - blank merge improvements

Imports will no longer replace populated values with null data by default.

You can still overwrite fields with blank values if this is a desired behavior by unchecking the don't overwrite fields with blank values checkbox.

API - webevents

The new webevents REST API endpoint allows you to PUT and POST Web Events, individually or batched, into PostUp's web analytics tables.

This endpoint is intended for inserting interest based activity such as visiting a page or taking a survey. The API will write to the database based upon recipientID or email address.

Bug fix - mailing preview reports

The mailing preview in the reports tab now auto-refreshes upon selecting a different recipient option.

Bug fix - seed tests

Authorization updated for API calls for seed tests (stand-alone and integrated).

PostUp 5.7.328.2

UI - login page

The style of the login page has been updated. The process for logging in is unchanged.

UI - navigation menu

The main navigation menu has changed as follows:

  • The server tab is now located at the end of the tab list (instead of second).

  • The settings tab has been relocated to the more dropdown menu.

  • The help and support links are now icons within the main banner.

  • The dropdown menu that formerly contained the help and support links is now accessed from a user icon.

    • This dropdown now displays your ID and the logout function.

  • The branding has been updated to the latest Upland format.

A/B split mailings - content consistency

If using an external source, e.g. an RSS feed, the winning mailing of an A/B split test is now sent with the same content as the tested version, even if the external source changes.

Apple mailboxes - geolocation accuracy improvement

Improved geolocation accuracy for mailings where Apple triggers a speculative image load.

Bug fix - reserved mailing

Mailings created for inventory reservations no longer get stuck in draft mode.

PostUp 5.7.327.1

Reports - mailing rendering

Rendering on the reports tab now matches the mailing content so you can identify which fonts, etc. were used in previous mailings.

Segmentation - Apple privacy

Users that come in via the automated open process on Apple IOS 15 are now placed in segments in the device and operating systems area, allowing you to segment by MPP (Apple's Mail Privacy Protection policy).

This feature helps minimize the devices identified as unknown following the introduction of Apple's MPP policy, giving you more tracking accuracy.

From support.apple.com - Mail Privacy Protection hides your IP address so senders can’t link it to your other online activity or determine your exact location. It also prevents senders from seeing if you’ve opened the email they sent you.

Targeting - missing web analytic

Targeting for a mailing with web analytic targeting can now be loaded even if the targeted action or product has been deleted from the database.

Note: in these cases, the targeting of missing actions/products should be removed from the targeting configuration.

Bug fix - import templates

Import templates no longer report a negative value for processed lines when importing large files.

Bug fix - exports

Open ID option added to export field lists to improve click behavior reporting.

Bug fix - recurring mailings

Improved exception handling to prevent errors when changing the send time of a recurring mailing with personal delivery time enabled.

PostUp 5.7.326.1

Delivery report - status enhancement

The delivery report on the recipients tab now includes the latest status of a scheduled mailing, i.e. sent, bounced, clicked or opened. Previously, the scheduled mailings only indicated if they were sent or not.

Suppression list - auto-add bots

You can now enable a feature that automatically adds suspected bots to a suppression list based on:

  • The ratio of suspicious to non-suspicious clicks.

  • The period over which the ratio is calculated.

  • The length of time the recipient stays in the suppression list.

Keyword searches

You can now search by keyword on the following pages:

Bug fix - inventory estimates

List level block domains are now correctly identified in inventory estimates.

Bug fix - content spam filter

Render tests correctly populate the content spam filter.

PostUp5.7.325.1

REST API - category ID call

GET API call added to retrieve category data. This includes pulling all categories, category by type (mailing, list, link, list and mailing), and a specific category by categoryID.

Bug fix - API encoded mailing ID

Encoded mailing ID is now returned with the REST API mailing object for new and pending mailings.

Bug fix - AB split mailing headers

Changing a mailing’s brand updates the message headers for all AB split combos without having to select the content tab.

Bug fix - search field options

"Is Schedule a Parent" no longer appears in search options if function is not relevant/available.

PostUp 5.7.324.1

Bug fix - link category assignment

Category assignments are now correctly applied for the original assignments and any matching URLs added after assigning the category.

Bug fix - export clicks count

You can now select Click ID as an option in the click reports to capture every unique click in the exported file.

Bug fix - personal delivery time open rates

Open rates and click rates over 100% now correctly display.

Note: Personal Delivery Time is an on-demand feature which allows you to send emails at the ideal time based upon previous user engagement. Please contact your customer success manager or Support to have this feature activated.

New operator - 'is_today'

The is_today operator helps create a segment to target the present running date.

This new operator is available for:

  • One-time mailings under the Targeting tab for creating a segment

  • Reservations under the Targeting tab for creating a segment

  • Drip Mailings under the Targeting tab for creating a segment

  • New alerts under the Targeting tab for creating a segment

Bug fix - delay content scheduling

The subject line for any mailing that uses the Delay Content Scheduling option now correctly reflects the modification of subject in the Server tab, and the Mailing Reports.

PostUp 5.7.318.1

Audit logging for API accounts

The audit logging for API accounts is introduced with new parameters to track the instances of bad login attempts.

Parameters:

  • Number of failed attempts for login.

  • On selecting the checkbox, the parameters for rows with entries like 0,1 or Yes, No can be reversed. The parameters that have entries subscribed, unsubscribed will not be reversed.

PostUp 5.7.317.1

Content API - data for an image

The Content API can now return data for an image in the data and contentID objects. The content ID is the file ID of the image, and the data object contains the URL of the image location. The URL will be an S3 link if the S3 switches are ON, else it will return an external link.

Bug fix - mailing Rest API

You can now retrieve the actual subject line on a mail using the Mailing REST API. A new object finalSubject displays the actual subject line. The subject object displays the subject line mentioned in the campaign.

Bug fix - listid tag

The listid tag used in a mail content returns the correct value on using the recipient time zone scheduling.

PostUp 5.7.316.1

Reporting metrics - click-through rate

Historically, PostUp has used Click-To-Open Rate as the available reporting metric for click analysis. Given the changes with iOS 15 and the open pixel tracking becoming less reliable, it was important to bring Click-Through-Rate (Clicks as a Percentage Of Delivered) as an available metric into the platform as well.

For more information on the impact of iOS 15 on email campaigns, read our blog FAQ: What Your Company Needs to Know About iOS 15.

To activate Click-Through rate for reporting, contact your Customer Success Manager or log a support ticket.

Unsubscribe message - remove list name

PostUp now provides a site-level option to not have your list name displayed on the recipient unsubscribe confirmation window.

The default behaviour for PostUp will be to have this list name displayed. To have this updated, please contact your Customer Success Manager or log a support ticket.

Bug fix - email address exports

The Export functionality while exporting email addresses is working as expected.

Bug fix - AB split subject lines

The subject line for cloned AB split mailings appears as expected on the server tab.

Custom fields table - new filter

On the Custom Field Management page, you can now filter the Custom Fields by Active or Inactive state of the field. The table displays Active fields by default.

Drip Campaign - Personalized Delivery Time

The Personalized Delivery Time(PDT) allows you to send out the email campaign at a specific time when the recipients are most active in a day. With this enhancement, you can send your drip campaigns at the PDT of your recipients. For more information, see Create a Drip Campaign with Personalized Delivery Time

Bug fix - last change date

On the User Setup page, under Privileges, in the Sending section, you can see a new parameter Enable Mailings Readonly Mode by Default.

If this parameter is selected, you will initially see the campaign in a read-only mode, and no changes will be preserved. You can edit the campaign by clicking the hyperlink.
