Grant Alternate Manager Visibility as Manager in Project List

The Grant Alternate Manager visibility as Manager in Project List option extends Project accessibility rights to the Alternate manager(s) regardless of the In/Out Of Office status of the active Project Manager. When the option is turned on, Alternate managers will be able to view and access the Projects for which they have been assigned as Alternate manager through the Available Projects and My Projects Views (Project List).

Furthermore, Alternate managers will also have visibility to these Projects through Upland Analytics from the following Views:

• Scope – My Projects
• Scope – Available Projects

This article details how to grant Alternate Manager visibility as Manager in Project List.

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. From the Navigation Menu click Work to expand the corresponding menu.
3. From the menu click System.
4. Upon the System level Work Setup page displaying, choose the Grant Alternate Manager visibility as Manager in Project List selection box.

   

5. Click Save to apply your changes.
6. View the impact of your changes: The Alternate manager can view and access the Projects for which they have been assigned as Alternate manager through the Available Projects and My Projects Views (Project List).
