Delivering Messages to FileBound

The FileBound connector is used to seamlessly integrate the AccuRoute Server and FileBound Document Management System (DMS). Administrators and users can begin to take advantage of the integration after completing the required configuration of both the connector and FileBound.

Before you begin

Understanding the Folder Structure in FileBound

Administrators and Client users will be delivering messages to a folder structure in FileBound that mimics a file cabinet system. FileBound Administrators will create cabinets, parent folders and sub folders using the hierarchy described below.

FileBound Administrators can create and label their projects, files, file (index) fields, separators, and dividers based on their specific workflow requirements.

The following diagram has been created to illustrate the folder structure.

See Basic Concepts for more information in the FileBound Help Center.

How delivery works

The following examples show how the connector and various AccuRoute applications can be used to deliver messages to FileBound.
