Getting Started
Upland Qvidian is a highly scalable web-based “Software as a Service (SaaS)” application that lets you easily create a wide variety of sales documents, all from one intuitive user interface. You can write effective sales proposals, respond to complex RFPs, build customer-focused presentations, or create other materials commonly used in your sales process. One of key building blocks of the application is a library of your best sales content, providing a trusted source of up-to-date, relevant and consistent material. This can be accessed through a powerful search interface or used to rapidly assemble client-ready documents. You can design specific structures for commonly used documents and presentations, and select from your own Word and PowerPoint templates to reflect the branding that best suits the sales situation. Within the design parameters you establish, users may customize sales materials to match the needs and interests of you.

If you'd like to start getting ready before you meet with them, we recommend you start with preparation outside of the software to prepare for your visit with the Project Manager (PM), including the following:
- Focus on content first. Have your content approved and ready to load before you meet with the PM, so you know you're loading the right content.
- Get an approved style template. Style templates dictate the look and feel of doc, including text size color fonts, logos, headers, and footers. Most companies have branded style templates. If you have this approved and ready, it will save time when you meet with your PM.
