Device Group Prompts can be set up to request additional information from users when scanning documents at a device. Any or all prompts and respective locations can be combined for use at a device. In addition, you can set up a Display If condition for Workflow Group, More Options, and Ready to Scan to show the prompts only when certain criteria are met.
See About Display If Prompts for more information.
Companies have different documents that are related to specific workflow processes. Administrators can set up the use of document sets for their process owners. Scan Reservations and Batch Routing Sheets are created by HP CR Client users based on the document sets configured and used for scanning and delivery of the documents. Document sets can be used in a variety of ways.
See About Document Sets for more information.
Administrators can set up the SMTP connector to automatically send messages to a sender’s Exchange Sent Mail folder. The messages will appear to come from the sender’s personal email account instead of the server for tracking purposes. Users can view these emails in their Sent folders when using the Microsoft Outlook Desktop or Web application.
See About Exchange Sent Mail Folder for more information.
ExchangeX Connector LDAP Security
Administrators can set up the ExchangeX connector to lookup email account information via the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server. Ports can be updated to allow for secure communications. SSL (Secured Socket Layer) can be enabled for encrypted communications between the ExchangeX connector and the LDAP server.
See About ExchangeX Connector LDAP Security for more information.
