Set Heat Map to Show by Default

You can choose to show the Heat Map for all users or only for newly created users, enhancing resource availability visibility across the organization.

This article details how to enable the Heat Map to display by default in the Workforce Planning System Settings.

Note: Regardless of the chosen option, Users can turn the Heat Map on or off from their Work Plans at any time.

Select the Show Heat Map by Default

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. Click Workforce Planning.
3. Select System.
4. Select the Show Heat Map by default option.
5. From the confirmation box that reads: Do you want to show Heat Map for all Users?
   1. Select Yes: The Heat Map will be turned on for all existing and any new Users that will be created in the future.
   2. Select No: The Heat Map visibility will remain as is, based on the User’s own selection at the Work Plan level. The Heat Map will be turned on for any new Users that will be created in the future.

Clear the Show Heat Map by Default

1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
2. Click Workforce Planning.
3. Select System.
4. Select the Show Heat Map by default option.
5. From the confirmation box that reads: Do you want to hide Heat Map for all Users?
1. Select Yes: The Heat Map will be turned off for all existing and any new Users that will be created in the future.
2. Select No: The Heat Map visibility will remain as is, based on the User’s own selection at the Work Plan level. The Heat Map will be turned off for any new Users that will be created in the future.
