Group Leave Time Calendar
The Group Leave Time view offers users the ability to see a monthly view of a group’s requested and approved leave time(s).
This article covers accessing the Group Leave Time Calendar and the available options to you.
Accessing the Group Leave Time Calendar
- From the Icon Bar click Setup

- From the Navigation Menu click Organization.
- From the available options select Groups.
- Upon the Groups list page displaying, click View and choose the required option.
- Click the name of the Group you wish to edit, to access the Group Edit page.
- From the General tab click Group Leave Time.
- View the Group Leave Time Calendar.
Note: The background color of the Leave Request bar and the color of the icons displayed within the Calendar View can be modified for each Leave Time type from Setup > Timesheet > Leave Time. For further details refer to the Defining Leave Time article.
Available options within the Group Leave Time Calendar
- Filter the Group Calendar by Type and/or Reasons.
- When Functional is selected, the view shows those resources with the selected group as their functional group.
- When Approval is selected, the view shows those resources with the selected group as their approval group.
- When Resource is selected, the view shows those resources that have the selected group as their resource group.
- Date Picker: Navigate to the required month by clicking the Previous Month
or Next Month
buttons. You can also click the current month/year to access the calendar Date Picker.
- Click Refresh to refresh the Calendar View.
- The Calendar bar icons and colors are explained in the Legend. These colors are dependent on the colors that were defined for the different Leave Time types Setup > Timesheet > Leave Time however, the background colors within the Calendar are less saturated so that the text can remain legible. For further details refer to the Defining Leave Time article.
- Access the Options, where you can set the Days to Display and the Default number of rows to display per week.
- Click the Collapse/Expand button to collapse or expand the Leave Request Calendar View.
- Click a Leave Request bar to access the General details of a Leave Request, Assignments, Attachments as well as the History.
- Click Cancel to close a leave request details pane.
- Click Save to save your modifications.
- Click Actions to choose from the available Actions.
