Restore a Suspended User

Users can be suspended, which means that they are no longer able to sign in. A User can either

  1. Manually be suspended by an administrator
    or
  2. Be suspended by the system after too many login failures.

This article covers how to restore a suspended user. Once restored, users can sign in and access all their information.

  1. From the Icon Bar click Setup .
  2. From the Navigation Menu click Organization.
  3. From the available options select Users.

  4. Upon the Users list page displaying, click the Filter button.
  5. From the available options select the Suspended selection box.

    Note: Suspended users are flagged as such on the Users list page (Setup > Organization > Users) and appear in red font.

  6. The Users list page will be refreshed to show only the Suspended User(s).

    Tip: You may wish to narrow your Users list so that you retrieve just the right amount of information you need. To do so you can perform a search. Select a search criterion from the list of available search criteria and then enter a corresponding value in the Search box. Click the Search icon to narrow down the Users list.   7. Click the Suspended User's name to access the User Edit page.
  8. From the General sub-tab of the User Settings, select the Active option from the Employment Status selection list.
  9. Click Save to apply your changes.
  10. Click Back to return to the previous page.
  11. Upon retuning to the Users list page note that the user is no longer suspended and can now sign in to access all their information.
