From the Setup tab in the Timesheet Template edit page, you can configure the Assignment Mode to either Inline or Modal Window for users of the New Timesheet. - From the Icon Bar click Setup
. - From the Navigation Menu click Timesheet.
- From the available options select Timesheet Templates.
- From the Timesheet Templates list that displays, click the Name of the Timesheet Template you wish to access.
- Upon the Timesheet Template Edit page displaying, navigate to the Setup tab.
- From the Show Project Time section, select Inline or Modal Window Assignment Mode.

- Users can override the default Assignment Mode set at the Timesheet Template level by accessing their Display Settings from the Timesheet context menu
